Lagniappe

Lagniappe (LAN-yap) is a French word meaning “a little something extra” used primarily in the south, especially in New Orleans.

Portraits of cars often show reflections of other cars – such as the Lexus. They often incorporate reflections of landscapes, trees, houses, blue sky and grass.

Other portraits can consist of close-ups such as the spark plug and headlamp at Laguna Seca.

An example of the effect of a grey misty day at Pebble Beach is the lack of typical light blue sky tones in the three vintage black and white abstract paintings.
