Motorcycle Grids
Motorcycle grids are a way of combining different ideas together in one art piece, and in doing so a new image is created. This new image can be considered as an abstract painting in its entirety.
The “Harley Grid”, “Up in Flames” and the “Flames Grid” are all inspired by flame designs on Harleys and customized bikes and choppers.
The “Skull Grid” is a celebration of customized paint jobs on choppers and Harleys.
Source material for these Motorcycle Grids were visits to the Barber Museum (Birmingham, AL) and bike weeks at Daytona, Sturgis and Carlisle. In addition, images are found everywhere you find bikes – on the streets, outside biker bars and at bike rallies throughout the US.
